Job Description

Procurement Specialist: We are seeking a skilled professional to manage procurement programmes, develop relationships with local government agencies, and ensure effective project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:
• Organise and engage with working groups to identify procurement requirements
• Prepare budgets and implement procurement programmes within allocated budgets
• Develop and maintain relationships with local government agencies and external partners
• Prepare reports for project and programme boards
• Foster productive association between the US and local government sector in service delivery
• Represent the US at various meetings
• Ensure policies and procedures align with best practice and are well documented
• Demonstrate effective people management and organisational skills

Desirable Skills and Qualifications:
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office programmes
• Expertise in public procurement legislation and procedures
• Ability to plan, manage, and coordinate resources effectively
• Experience working independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organisational, presentation, and written skills
