My client, a leading supplier of Construction Equipment and Machinery, based in Dublin South is in need of a Purchasing and Sales Manager to join their Organization This is an excellent opportunity for a Purchasing and Sales Manager who is looking to join an industry leader and take their career to the next level. This company offers a generous salary and benefits package as well as opportunities for career progression The Purchasing and Sales Manager will be responsible for Procurement, Supply Chain, Warehouse, Order Fulfilment, Data Analysis and People Management The responsibilities for the Purchasing and Sales Manager include but are not limited to: Dealing with our manufacturing suppliers, securing optimum delivery and prices whilst factoring in handling Understand brand positioning and pricing techniques Understand the full order to cash end to end process Possess a strong ability to negotiate (externally with customers & suppliers and internally with other departments) Be very familiar with supply chain functionality and terminology- responsible for purchasing Department finances, full P&L responsibility, (income & expenditure for the Parts Dept) Experience identifying any resource and or capital equipment Ability to prioritise negotiations with suppliers to obtain the best outcome for the Company Working cross functionally with the Service and Sales departments Motivate and inspire staff while facilitating personal growth Ensure high levels of productivity are maintained Experience in dealing with HR process and procedures Set strategic long and short-term departmental goals and evaluate outcomes The requirements for the Purchasing and Sales Manager include: Previous experience in a similar Purchasing and Sales Management role Highly organized and diligent with strong analytical and IT skills Previous People Management experience Negotiation skills and Sales skills Strong Communication and Interpersonal Skills with ability to develop strong relationships with all stakeholders Excellent written and verbal communication skills Exceptional interpersonal skills Good knowledge of ERP system for example SAP, Navision, Oracle Proficiency in all the Microsoft applications (Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookup, Advanced Filtering etc), If you feel that you fulfil the above requirements please apply today with your CV.
