This position of Purchasing and Sales Support requires a candidate who can efficiently manage procurement processes and provide effective sales support in the busy B2B retail industry. The role demands an individual with a keen eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and an ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Client Details Our client is a leading entity in the retail sector, employing over 5000 people across multiple locations. They are renowned for their commitment to quality and customer service, and they maintain a significant presence in Dublin. Description Order Management: Assist in placing and tracking purchase orders, ensuring timely delivery of goods. Vendor Relations: Communicate with suppliers to negotiate pricing, terms, and delivery schedules. Inventory Control: Monitor stock levels and initiate reorders as needed to maintain adequate inventory. Customer Interaction: Respond to customer inquiries via phone and email, providing product information and assistance. Order Processing: Assist in processing customer orders, ensuring accuracy. Sales Support: Help the sales team with administrative tasks, including preparing quotes and managing customer accounts. Follow-Up: Ensure follow-ups with customers are made to ensure satisfaction and encourage repeat business. Profile A successful Purchasing and Sales Support should have: Previous experience in purchasing or sales roles is preferred but not essential. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word) Leaving Certificate or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in procurement, sales, or related fields are a plus. Self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as part of a team. Job Offer An estimated salary range of €30,000 to €35,000 per year.
