Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and strategic Purchasing Manager to lead and manage the purchasing and procurement department. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relations with specific experience in SAP Business One. In this role, you will be responsible for optimizing purchasing processes, liaising with the team in a timely and constructive fashion, negotiating supplier agreements, and ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement of materials. The role is critical in supporting our company's focus on rail electric traction motor overhauling and ensuring smooth factory operations. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy: Develop and implement procurement strategies that align with business objectives and ensure cost-efficiency. Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality and delivery standards are met. Contract Negotiation: Negotiate terms, pricing, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the company. Inventory Control: Oversee inventory levels and ensure that stock is ordered and maintained to meet production demands. Cost Management: Monitor and manage purchasing budgets, identifying opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization. Ability to work in an environment that is undergoing modernization and optimization, balancing traditional and contemporary approaches. ERP System Integration: Lead procurement processes within SAP Business One, ensuring accurate data entry, tracking, and reporting. Compliance: Ensure procurement activities comply with legal requirements, industry standards, and internal policies. Reporting: Provide regular reports on procurement activities, supplier performance, and cost analysis to senior management. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field. 5+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial setting. Proficiency in SAP Business One is essential. Strong negotiation, contract management, and supplier relationship skills. Analytical mindset with the ability to manage budgets and cost optimizations.
