Senior Python Developer

We are looking for a hands-on experienced Python Developer who will be writing code daily and be part of a team working on an exciting project.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ownership of key projects, working across all phases of the SDLC, including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment.
- Accountable for issuing technical guidance to Junior Developers, including overseeing their deliverables and providing architectural guidance.
- Collaborate with the whole development team to influence system architecture and feature design.
Requirements:
- Strong Python development experience.
- Experience in web frameworks preferably Fast API/Flask (or) with Django, API development.
- Experience in API security, JWT and exposure to UI development.
- Demonstrated Subject Matter Expert (SME) in area(s) of Applications Development.
- Experience in microservices and Kubernetes/EKS/ECS.
- Experience in Mongo DB (or any other No SQL).
- Understanding of both relational and non-relational databases.
- Hands-on software engineer who will be writing code daily.
- Demonstrate knowledge on code quality, code performance, unit testing, and build processing in the CI/CD.
- Experience in version control tools like GIT, SVN and Bitbucket.
- Ability to work independently with end users to gather requirements and design solutions.
- Able to write shell & batch programs.
- Act as an expert in several knowledge areas.
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making skills.
Desirable:
- Experience in python-based streaming (ETL/Kafka) development.
- Experience in the financial services industry.
- Enthusiasm for learning and pursuing development of new skills.
- Ability to adjust priorities quickly as circumstances dictate.
