Job Description

**Electrical QA/QC Engineer** Summary: Implement and maintain quality control systems, conduct audits, and ensure compliance with regulatory standards for electrical projects. Implementation and maintenance of the CJK Engineering ISO9001:2015 system, on site. Preparation of project specific Project Quality Plans (PQP). Creation of Inspection & Test Plan (ITP) document for scope of works. Development of Quality Control (QC) Test Packs per Scope of works. QA Auditing of projects in accordance with the site audit schedule and Scope of works. Documenting findings and follow up actions in detailed audit reports. Promoting LEAN construction processes & tools, best practice, improvements and sharing Lessons Learned across projects. Provision of continuous QMS Training and Support, as per CJK Engineering Quality System. Investigating QA issues and non-conformances (if they arise). Notify the EHS Manager of technical incidents or issues that arise. Review of project specifications, as required. Completing Quality / Technical Alert documentation and specialist Reports, as required. Ability to work independently and carry out QMS Audits and follow up reports on projects. Completion of System walkdowns and site inspections, as the works progress. Completion of BCAR 2014 site inspections, incl. provision of CE Marking certificates, Commissioning (Cx) reports, Test Packs for final handover. Liaise with the CJK Engineering O&M Co-ordinator for the timely provision of O&M Manuals, where inputs are required. **Requirements:** * 3rd level qualification in Electrical Engineering or Strong Trades background * City & Guilds Electrical Inspection & Testing * Knowledge of regulatory standards e.g. IS, EN IS * Knowledge of current statutory EHS legislation e.g. Electricity Safety Act (CRU), SHWA Regulations 2007 Part 3 Electricity (ROI) * Previous Handover/Factory Acceptance Testing & Equipment Walkdown Experience * Technical knowledge and experience of Low Voltage Switchgear (LV) systems and associated equipment and awareness of Electrical Standards IS and Safe Electric * Ability to carry out QA Audits and follow up reports on Projects * Ability to understand & interpret Project Specifications, Drawings, SLDs, Cable Solutions and Data Sheets. * Commissioning of Low Voltage (LV systems) * Comp Ex Ex01-04 ATEX certification achieved in the past 5 years * Experience in the completion of GDP documentation for handover. **Desirable:** * Comp Ex E01-06 qualified for ATEX environments * Authorised Person (AP) competent and trained * Good Knowledge of I&C installations * Data Centre experience / knowledge.
