Software Test Engineer at DOCOsoft
Software Test Engineers are key members of the Software Testing team responsible for the thorough execution of test cases and resolving product defects in a fast-paced Agile environment.
**Key Responsibilities:**
• All aspects of testing from test design to test execution
• Preparing schedules with target dates for test deliverables
• Proactively communicating with development teams and business analysts
• Disciplined tracking, reporting, and resolution of product defects
• Accurate and timely status reporting to Management
• Elevating critical risks to project, management, and senior-executive teams
• Expanding existing test libraries and building modular, end-to-end, and automated regression tests
• Re-testing defect fixes and regression testing
• Coordinating with assigned Project Manager, Business Analysts, and Development members
**Requirements:**
• Minimum of 2 years software testing experience on complex IT projects
• Degree in computing, engineering, or science subject area
• Working experience on Agile Scrum team with strong understanding of Agile methodologies
• Experience in test case development and test execution
• Deep understanding of software testing industry best practices
• Strong analysis and documentation skills
• Good knowledge of Excel, SQL, and test automation tools
**Highly Desirable:**
• ISTQB certification – Foundation level or above
• Knowledge of scripting languages and API testing tools
• Automation Tools experience
• Penetration testing experience
• Performance testing experience
• Insurance knowledge
• Knowledge of Azure Dev Ops
