Our Client is seeking a dynamic and highly motivated QA/Test Manager to lead their Quality Assurance team. The successful candidate will collaborate closely with developers, the QA/Compliance team, and key stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality IT solutions within set timelines.About the Role:The QA/Test Manager will be pivotal in aligning the QA Test Team with both Development and QA Compliance teams, ensuring a cohesive approach to delivering validated IT systems. The role involves overseeing manual testing processes, driving continuous improvement initiatives (such as test automation and security testing), and maintaining high standards in the validation of systems.This is a hands-on position, where the QA/Test Manager will actively contribute to the creation and refinement of testing processes, conduct manual and automated tests, and mentor team members in specialized areas of testing. The successful candidate will play a vital role in shaping the QA/Test function and ensuring it meets the needs of ongoing projects.This position is perfect for a driven professional looking to make a significant impact within a dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will be adept at introducing processes and structure to an evolving environment and will have comprehensive knowledge of various testing methodologies, including security, automated, and manual testing.Key Responsibilities:Introduce and enhance QA processes and methodologies.Ensure alignment between the QA Test Team, Development team, and Quality Team.Develop and execute comprehensive test strategies and plans.Perform both manual and automated test cases and analyze results.Evaluate product performance against specifications.Implement improvements in areas such as cyber-security and automated testing.Document testing phases and defects, and report bugs to development teams.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.Conduct post-release and post-implementation testing.Troubleshoot issues and support continuous improvement initiatives.Requirements:3+ Years Experience in a similar roleExperience within Life Sciences or similar industry highly desired.Proficiency with defect tracking systems and test management software such as X-Ray and SQL.Formal qualifications in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field are advantageous.Proven experience in leading teams.A track record of successfully implementing processes within a QA environment.Familiarity with working in validated environments.Ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within a team.Extensive experience across a range of testing types.Knowledge of Agile frameworks and regression testing.Experience with automated security testing tools.Candidates must be based in Ireland and have a minimum stamp 4 visa.
