QC Analyst Job Description
Highly skilled QC Analyst required to perform pharmaceutical substance testing in a GMP environment, utilizing GC and HPLC analysis, and other analytical techniques.
Main Responsibilities:
- Perform testing in accordance with valid testing procedures and regulatory requirements
- Ensure laboratory equipment is well maintained and calibrations are carried out at designated frequencies
- Manage inventory and status of materials required for analysis
- Verify and review results generated by other analysts for compliance with requirements
- Ensure correct data entry to LIMS
- Assess testing results and close out batch analysis
- Meet target dates and update visibility tools
- Maintain laboratories to a high housekeeping standard
- Ensure high standard of lab records
- Write and maintain necessary documentation
- Work as part of the team to meet customer expectations
- Support achievement of client and SGS Key Performance Indicators
- Lead laboratory investigations and deviations
- Maintain a safe working environment
- Identify and implement safety, environmental, quality and service improvements
Requirements:
- Science Degree in Chemistry or equivalent (Level 7 minimum)
- 2 years experience in a GMP laboratory
- Data Integrity and sound knowledge of analytical technologies
- Team player with strong customer service mentality
- Excellent quality and safety standards
- Aptitude in lab computer systems
