Job Description

Qualified Electrician Location: Cork, Ireland About the Role: We are working with one of Ireland's leading Fuel Maintenance and Installation companies, specialising in servicing the Fuel Industry across the country. This company is known for its commitment to safety, quality, and customer satisfaction, and they are looking for two skilled and experienced electricians to join their team in the Munster region. In this Role, You'll: Conduct safety inspections and wiring checks on forecourt sites, ensuring all work meets the highest standards. Troubleshoot, identify faults, and carry out necessary repairs on-site. Engage in hands-on electrical work, adhering to Safe Electric Ireland standards and best practices. Deliver comprehensive services to customers, including commissioning, servicing, and validating equipment. Prepare detailed service reports for customer review and approval. Participate in an on-call engineer rota, approximately once per month. Provide on-site training to customers and assist colleagues as needed. Travel frequently to various sites, with regular overnight stays (e.g., Cork to Dublin). Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their satisfaction. Qualifications and Skills You'll Need: Safe Electric QC qualification (current) and Solas/Fas Electrician certification. At least 5 year's experience, preferably with a MV/HV contractor. Familiarity with Safe Electric Ireland audits. Additional certifications such as Safe Pass, Manual Handling, Working at Heights, and ATEX familiarity are advantageous. Strong problem-solving abilities, organisational skills, and excellent communication. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. A full, clean Irish driving license.
