Job Description
A leading Biopharma company in North Dublin seeks a Junior and Senior QC Lab Systems Specialist to support the implementation of Maximo into its QC laboratories. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating and maintaining master data in lab systems, supporting change controls, and collaborating with laboratory, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure efficient laboratory testing operations. The role involves evaluating and implementing processes to improve compliance and efficiency, authoring procedural documents, and providing ad hoc support to users. Key responsibilities include:
Creating and maintaining master data in lab systems BIOVIA LES and CIMS
Supporting review of change controls associated with lab systems
Executing and documenting change control and/or verifying changes executed by a team member
Reviewing method/specification changes and working with SMEs to assess impact to lab systems data set up
Executing standardization plan and contributing to identifying opportunities to standardize
Testing changes/enhancements through dry runs and receiving feedback from lab users
Setting up verification testing as appropriate for the lab system
Communicating impact of lab system changes to integrated systems areas
Collaborating with laboratory, manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure needs and requirements are accurate in the lab systems
Evaluating, recommending, and implementing processes to improve compliance and efficiency of laboratory testing operations
Authoring, revising, and/or reviewing procedural documents and contributing to the development of associated training content
Providing ad hoc support to users for issues/questions on the lab system
Communicating technical issues and activity status updates to team members/direct management
This is a hybrid role with a requirement to be on site 50% of the working week. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of lab systems, change management, and process improvement. Morgan McKinley is acting as an Employment Agency.
