Job Description
Seeking a Quality Control Lead Analyst to oversee analytical review and technical support for QC analysts in a fast-paced laboratory environment.
SK biotek Ireland, a global Contract Development and Manufacturing organisation (CDMO), is a leading provider of analytical services with state-of-the-art facilities in Korea, US, France and Ireland.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform analysis and analytical review for Raw Material and API testing groups.
- Provide technical and compliance support to QC analysts to ensure testing requirements are met.
- Work closely with QC analysts to ensure testing is carried out in compliance with local procedures and regulatory requirements.
- Meet with team members periodically to discuss progress and provide coaching.
- Complete performance reviews with team members and approve direct reports' hours of attendance.
Requirements:
- Strong technical background in chemistry, particularly analytical chemistry.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot equipment and method issues.
- Methodical approach when investigating issues.
- Knowledge of FDA and European GMP's, particularly pertaining to laboratory operations.
- Strong leadership skills with proven success of leading in a team environment.
Qualifications:
- BSc in Analytical Science, Chemistry or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in analytical chemistry.
