Key responsibilities include:
- Coordinating the month-end process to close the general ledger in line with company and IFRS standards
- Enhancing daily general ledger and accounting activities by reviewing monthly balance sheet files and proposing improvements
- Overseeing annual year-end financial and early warning audits with external auditors
- Implementing and monitoring the risk control framework, optimising and improving financial processes
- Managing tax processes, including corporation tax and VAT return processes
