Qualified Accountant wanted for Global Insurance Company A global insurance entity based in Dublin City is seeking a qualified accountant to join their finance team. The ideal candidate will have a background in insurance, but experience in other financial services is also considered. **Key Responsibilities:** • Conduct monthly reviews, control measures, and analyses of designated international contracts business • Evaluate the profitability of international contracts and implement risk mitigation strategies • Participate in the on-boarding process for newly assigned international contracts • Contribute to the preparation of key client profit share and underwriting year analyses • Coordinate with local and consolidated finance team members to include international contract business in consolidated results • Develop and maintain a comprehensive and transparent audit trail for all assigned international contracts • Communicate with external parties, such as brokers, claims handlers, and fronting insurers **Requirements:** • Qualified or nearly qualified accountant • Strong numerical skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy • Proficiency in all MS Office programs • Ability to work independently and take initiative • Outstanding analytical, problem-solving, and relationship-building capabilities • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments and meet tight deadlines • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills • Quick learning ability following a training period • Familiarity and experience with SAP reporting systems **Company Overview:** Our client is a global insurance entity with a strong presence in Dublin City.
