Job Description
Seeking a Practice Accountant with ACA/ACCA/CPA qualification and 2+ years of practice experience to prepare management and statutory accounts, manage internal tasks, and assist clients with financial control and compliance.
A Practice Accountant is required to work with an established firm of Chartered Accountants and Registered Auditors in South Dublin. The ideal candidate will have a proactive approach and excellent organizational and technical skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare monthly/quarterly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts.
- Manage internal administrative tasks, including timesheets and invoicing.
- Assist clients in establishing financial control systems and ensuring compliance with company secretarial requirements.
- Provide guidance to clients in adopting best practices through technology to enhance efficiency and facilitate growth.
- Contribute to the firm's accounting technology strategy and oversee the implementation of new accounting solutions.
Requirements
- ACA/ACCA/CPA Qualified Accountant.
- Minimum 2+ years of practice experience.
- Ideal 1 year PQE experience.
- Familiarity with accounting software packages such as Relate, Micro Pay, Surf, Receipt Bank, Quick Books, Sage, Xero, or similar.
