Qualified Accounting Technician sought for consultancy organisation in North Dublin, managing financial transactions, preparing reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Our client, a consultancy organisation based in North Dublin, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Accounting Technician to join their team.

The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

This is an in-office role; however, flexible working hours can be accommodated if required.

Must have Irish experience

  • Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to management
  • Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
  • Prepare and process financial transactions, including invoicing
  • Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues
  • Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
  • Contribute to improving accounting processes and procedures

Requirements:

  • Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, IATI, or equivalent)
  • Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office Suite
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
