Our client, a consultancy organisation based in North Dublin, is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Qualified Accounting Technician to join their team.
The successful candidate will play a key role in managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.
This is an in-office role; however, flexible working hours can be accommodated if required.
Must have Irish experience
- Conduct regular financial analysis and reporting to management
- Manage accounts payable and receivable functions
- Prepare and process financial transactions, including invoicing
- Reconcile financial discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues
- Ensure compliance with relevant accounting standards and regulations
- Collaborate with internal teams to provide financial information and support
- Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts
- Contribute to improving accounting processes and procedures
Requirements:
- Qualified Accounting Technician (ATI, IATI, or equivalent)
- Proven experience in a similar role, demonstrating a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Sage) and MS Office Suite
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
