Qualified Electrician Wanted for Mayo-based Multinational Company
We are seeking a skilled electrician to join our client's team, a leading multinational company based in Mayo.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical maintenance and a proven track record of delivering high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Carry out routine maintenance tasks on electrical equipment and machinery.
- Respond to equipment breakdowns and emergency situations in a timely and efficient manner.
- Liaise with production personnel to ensure all machinery and equipment is in proper working order.
- Perform repairs and replacements of electrical equipment as needed.
- Install new electrical circuit containment and participate in the commissioning process.
- Conduct periodic testing of electrical circuits.
- Participate in on-site lean initiatives.
Personal Competencies:
- Must be computer-literate for all calibrations to be filed and logged.
- Ability to work on own initiative and take pride in their work.
- High-level diagnostic and problem-solving skills in an industrial and commercial environment.
- Demonstrate a logical approach to problem-solving.
- At least 2 years of industrial experience.
- A team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, open-minded and able to recognize good ideas.
- Innovative thinker – able to envision new and better ways to do things.
- Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to electrical issues.
- Excellent analytical skills, and the ability to plan, organize, and implement multiple concurrent tasks.
