Financial Accountant Maternity Contract: A well-established company in Co Meath seeks a Financial Accountant to work closely with senior management, focusing on budgeting, forecasting, and financial accounting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Financial Reporting: Compile financial results from each business unit and consolidate monthly/quarterly group accounts.
- Central Reporting: Enhance central reporting to standardize reporting for the group and business units.
- Group Central Cost Ledger: Manage the group central cost ledger and balance sheet.
- Cost Model: Supervise and manage the allocation of the group cost model.
- Group Cost Reporting: Manage group cost reporting by cost functions and prepare group cost budgets.
- Transfer Pricing Model: Assist in developing the group transfer pricing model.
- Balance Sheet Trends: Monthly review of balance sheet trends and balance sheet reconciliations.
- Group Audit: Support the completion of the group audit.
- Group Financial Policy: Develop and comply with group financial policy.
- Cashflow and Financing: Manage the group's cashflow and financing requirements.
- Financing Facilities: Oversee and manage financing facilities.
- Banking Management: Manage banking, including payment and beneficiary approvals.
- VAT and Corporation Tax: Support the group on VAT and Corporation Tax matters.
- Corporation Tax Computations: Support Corporation Tax computations, returns, and payments.
Requirements:
- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA)
- Experience in a fast-paced environment, preferably in Retail, FMCG, Logistics, distribution, or Pharma industry
- Previous experience of internal controls, processes documentation, and implementation
- Strong Finance Systems experience, preferably Microsoft Dynamics/AX
- Advanced Excel skills
