Role Overview: We are seeking a Qualified or Part-Qualified Accountant to join our dynamic team in Galway. The successful candidate will work closely with clients, providing high-quality accounting and advisory services, and will be a key player in delivering our comprehensive range of services. Key Responsibilities: Prepare financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards and regulations. Assist in the planning and execution of audits, including the preparation of audit working papers and financial reports. Provide accounting support to a range of clients, including the preparation of management accounts and bookkeeping services. Assist in the preparation of tax returns, ensuring compliance with Irish tax laws and regulations. Work closely with clients to understand their business needs and provide tailored financial advice. Support the senior team in the delivery of advisory projects, including business planning, financial forecasting, and corporate finance assignments. Ensure that all work is completed to the highest standard and within deadlines. Liaise with other departments within the firm to deliver integrated services to clients. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of accounting standards, tax legislation, and industry best practices. Qualifications & Experience: ACA, ACCA, CPA qualified or part-qualified, with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in an accountancy practice. Strong technical accounting skills and a solid understanding of Irish accounting standards and tax regulations. Experience in audit, financial reporting, and tax compliance. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships. Proficiency in accounting software packages (e.g., Sage, QuickBooks, Xero) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. A proactive and organized approach, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
