We are seeking a highly skilled Qualified Accountant to join as a Quality Control Inspector to conduct audit monitoring and compliance reviews within our clients member firms. The successful candidate will assess key processes, ensure adherence to regulations, and provide value-adding recommendations to improve quality standards. The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years of experience as a Senior Audit Manager or Director and be a fully qualified accountant. This is a fantastic opportunity to work remotely, reporting directly to the Quality Control Director. The position offers a competitive salary and an excellent benefits package. Key Responsibilities: Conduct monitoring visits to review member firms' practices and compliance with industry regulations. Assess firms' compliance with audit, accounting, investment business, insolvency, and anti-money laundering standards. Interview key stakeholders and review critical decision-making processes. Prepare detailed reports with findings and recommendations to improve firm quality. Stay up to date with business, accounting, and regulatory compliance issues. Skills & Qualifications: Qualified accountant (member of a Recognized Accountancy Body) with at least 5 years of post-qualification experience in practice or regulatory environments. Strong knowledge of professional, technical, and ethical standards. Excellent organizational, communication, and report-writing skills. Ability to manage multiple deadlines and travel as required (within Ireland). Analytical mindset with sound judgment and problem-solving capabilities.
