Director, Quality Engineering(Software Engineering)Our Client:Is leading a new era of audio entertainment and services by delivering the most compelling subscription and ad-supported audio entertainment experience for listeners in the car, at home, and anywhere on the go with connected devices.Our Client’s vision is to shape the future of audio, where everyone can be effortlessly connected to the voices, stories and music they love wherever they are.Our Client’s platforms collectively reach approximately 150 million listeners, the largest digital audio audience across paid and free tiers in North America, and deliver music, sports, talk, news, comedy, entertainment and podcasts.How you’ll make an impact:This position is a senior leader responsible for looking after quality engineering applications across its ecosystem, while working with Product, Marketing and Business teams to harmonize our efforts toward shared company goals.Benefits You Can Expect:Competitive salary and annual bonus program.Healthcare provided to all employees and their eligible family members, paid by the Company.Life cover (4X base salary).Short and long-term disability.Pension contributions up to 8% of your annual base salary.Bike2Work scheme.Tax saver tickets.Employee Assistance Program.25 days annual leave (pro-rated).10 days paid sick.Summary of the role:Lead a team of geographically dispersed Quality Engineering (QE) Managers and Individual Contributors (ICs).Define, implement & continuously improve upon the strategy for test planning, execution, reporting & scheduling across multiple teams within the Quality Engineering (QE) organization.Guide teams through all levels of testing including functional, regression, automation, etc.Define and deliver against OKR’s aligning to the goals of the organization.Guide teams through working cross-functionally with Engineering, Product Management, and Program Management to ensure products are delivered with high standards of quality and reliability.Work directly with leadership in Product, Engineering, and more to address quality issues & assess risk on a project-by-project basis.Play a key role in product launches by tracking project health, implementing reporting tools, & being able to effectively communicate & escalate concerns to mitigate risk.Foster an environment of collaboration & learning.What you’ll need:10+ years of experience in technology, quality engineering or customer experience, with 8-9 years of experience in people & team management.The ability to lead a team of 25+ people.Experience in defining quality test strategies and guiding teams across multiple cross-functional workflows.Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with the ability to adapt to meet the needs of a dynamic company while maintaining high standards of quality.Passionate about leading, inspiring, and motivating others to meet their goals.Excellent project management skills and ability to execute and deliver to a high standard.Deep understanding of quality metrics & track record of executing and reporting on risk assessment to various stakeholders and leaders.Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work across many departments and levels and influence others.Preferred bachelor’s degree in computer science or its equivalent.Must have legal right to work in Ireland.Familiarity with:Java, Groovy, Dataweave.MuleSoft.Log analysis tools such as ELK /Splunk.Build tools such as Jenkins.Ticketing tools such as Jira or ServiceNow.Messaging brokers such as JMS / ActiveMQ / AnypointMQ.Postman / SoapUI.Competency in: Unit Testing frameworks such as Junit / Munit, and performance testing tools such as JMeter.#LI-AC7 #J-18808-Ljbffr
