Quality (QA/QC) Executive/Director Data Center Very much a new opportunity!! Our client is a large European Construction Group consisting of multiple integrated group companies involved in the turnkey delivery of Data Centres throughout Europe with further expansion into the US and the Middle East planned in the short term. They have recently opened a Dublin Office and where they intend to base several specialist departments within the group including their QA/QC function. They are looking for the person to run this department. The role will encompass not just the groups main contracting DC business but also other group-controlled companies that make up much of its supply line. There offices will be based in the Docklands in the heart of the city. You will manage a team of QA/QC engineers an auditors both in the HQ and remotely on the various construction sites/factories in Europe. Ultimately responsibility will be to ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and compliance throughout the design/construction phase of companies data centre projects, European wide, meeting both client and regulatory requirements Your team will : Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive quality management systems tailored to data centre construction projects, ensuring adherence to industry/country standards, codes, and regulations. Conduct regular inspections, audits, and reviews to assess compliance with quality standards, specifications, and contractual requirements throughout the construction lifecycle. Continuously evaluate and enhance quality management processes, integrating best practices and lessons learned from previous projects into current workflows. Maintain accurate and comprehensive quality records, documentation, and reports, ensuring traceability and accountability for quality-related activities. Generate regular quality performance reports, highlighting key metrics, trends, and areas for improvement, and presenting findings to stakeholders. Requirements: Appropriate third level qualification in Engineering, Quality Management, or related field. Senior level experience in quality management within the construction industry, preferably in data centre projects. In-depth knowledge of quality management systems, standards, and regulations internationally Strong management skills with an attention to detail Excellent communication, interpersonal, and stakeholder management skills. Although the role will be based in Ireland there will be a requirement to travel to various locations to support your team.
