Lead Quality Engineer for a company in County Westmeath, responsible for ensuring customer requirements are met through effective quality assurance and process improvement.

In this role, you will lead and coordinate Quality Assurance activities to capture and implement customer-specific requirements into relevant business processes. You will provide leadership in best practice for Automotive and Medical Quality, and lead improvement projects to enhance the Quality Management System (QMS) and reduce customer issues.
- Monitor and ensure compliance with ISO9000, ISO13485, and ISO14001 standards.
- Own the PPAP and validation processes, supporting customer and APQP processes.
- Collaborate with Sales to ensure effective capture and understanding of customer-specific requirements.
- Lead projects to implement customer-specific requirements in relevant business areas.
- Handle customer complaints and lead the 8D process.
- Provide leadership and training on best practice Quality to all teams.
- Review and complete customer quality documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
- Lead improvement projects with cross-functional teams to continually enhance the QMS.
Requirements
- Third-level qualification in Quality, Science, or Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Strong team member with the ability to identify and drive quality improvement programs.
- Excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
- Ability to prepare reports and present data graphically.
- At least 3-5 years' relevant Quality Engineering experience.
