Job Description

Position: Quality Engineer Location: Longford Permanent The Role: Our client, a premier provider of advanced injection-molded packaging solutions for consumer goods, healthcare, and industrial sectors worldwide are seeking a Quality Engineer to join their dynamic and progressive team. The Quality Engineer will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effective operation of the manufacturing facility's quality processes. Reporting to the Quality Manager, this position will support the organization in achieving its quality objectives. Responsibilities: * Develop and execute solutions to enhance and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS). * Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and ISO 14001 standards, providing ongoing support. * Interface with customers regarding new products, quality issues, and process qualifications. * Establish and oversee process control programs to meet customer requirements. * Conduct process validations and product qualifications. * Provide manufacturing support and quality expertise to resolve production issues and determine product disposition. * Conduct quality engineering analyses to develop strategies for preventing non-conformities and minimizing risks. * Coordinate Non-Conformance Report (NCR) and Corrective and Preventive Action (CAPA) processes to resolve issues promptly. * Lead training sessions on Quality Procedures, including Compliance, GMP, Audit Preparation, and GDP. * Support and represent the site during external audits and conduct internal audits as required. * Track and analyze quality data trends to drive continuous improvement initiatives. * Support Environmental, Health, and Safety requirements, training, and regulatory compliance. * Perform additional tasks as assigned by the direct supervisor. Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Polymer Science, or equivalent relevant experience. * Proficiency in statistical analysis (Minitab), Statistical Process Control (SPC), and validations. * Strong interpersonal, communication, influencing, and facilitation skills. * At least 3 years of experience as a Quality Assurance Engineer in an Injection Molding or Medical Manufacturing setting.
