Quality Engineer sought to develop and implement quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics, lean manufacturing concepts, and analyses.

The Quality Engineer will assist in the review, analysis, and reporting on quality discrepancies related to assembly and process. They will investigate problems and recommend disposition, modification, and corrective action for recurring or non-recurring discrepancies.

The ideal candidate will have an experienced background in sterilization, automation, equipment/software validation, and manufacturing within controlled environments. They will be fully competent in the application of quality engineering tools and techniques, with a key emphasis on validation protocols, cGMP, PFMEA's, and support the generation of DMF's.

The Quality Engineer will:

  • Use scrap reduction methodologies and process capability analysis to provide a robust defect-free process.
  • Support the external and internal Quality Management System auditing function.
  • Support the implementation of Company Policies and GMP.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices, recording of events, and processes.
  • Root cause problem-solving approach in a team environment.
  • Align customer specifications to JABIL capabilities.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Engineering/Science (Mechanical/Electronics/Chemistry) discipline.
  • 3 to 5 years' experience in a Quality Engineering role.
  • Fully competent in Quality Management Standards.
  • Excellent Leadership skills, ability to motivate team members.
  • Excellent organization, communication, computer, and presentation skills.
  • Excellent initiative, decision-making, and ability to work in a core team environment.
  • Solution-driven with emphasis on performance and results.
