The Student Quality Engineer assists in developing and implementing quality plans, programs, and procedures using quality control statistics and lean manufacturing concepts. Key responsibilities include:
Supporting assembly batch release, offline testing, paperwork, and stratified samples management.
Updating and creating work instructions as required.
Validating and supporting metrology activities.
Driving changes to minimize risk of error in paperwork, sampling, or testing.
Coordinating quality issues between automation and molding.
Setting up processes to log, track, and resolve issues.
Determining opportunities for proactive product quality improvement.
Supporting company safety and quality programs.
Ensuring ongoing compliance with GMP in all practices and recording of events.
To perform this job, you must be pursuing an Honours Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Biomedical Engineering, Applied Physics, Electronic, or Electrical Engineering. You should have excellent IT, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
