Rubicon Consulting is currently recruiting for a Quality Engineer on a Permanent Basis, located in near Cork, Ireland. Role Responsibilities Lead by example in the areas of ethics, EHS, cultural sensitivity, diversity, teamwork, quality culture and behaviors. Comply with all Project EHS requirements . PPE, work Permits and procedures. Support the development of project specific method statements. Understand the company values. Establish close working relationships with cross functional departments (Planning, Engineering, Operations, Commissioning and EHS. ehs including supply chain and client stakeholders. Liaise with the company team for field space creation and project custom attributes. Develop, maintain, and monitor Inspection and Test Plans and checklists approvals in line with submittal due dates. Monitor, Inspect and maintain Weld traceability, Weld logs, Welder qualifications, heat maps, visualin spections and NDT percentage review, etc. Develop and agree Test Pack List and Contents with relevant project stakeholders. Define and develop the system limits or system boundaries for test pack with agreed contents including tracking of each test pack. Implement QR code tagging and tracking of free issued and procured equipment/plant. Encourage progressive compilation of lessons learned during project execution. Conducting project lesson learned workshops with supply chain and project team to prevent recurrence of issues. Implement Walkdown planning and 2-week lookaheads. Measure performance of planned vs actual Compilation of hard copy and digital test packs for projects walkdowns handover. Notifications and execution of W1/W2/W3 walkdowns & turnovers to project stakeholders. Lead Third Party walk-downs as dictated in the ITP and commissioning plan. Carry out Internal pre-test walkdown using schematics/SLD and P&ID’s to ensure each system is intechnical compliance with the approved design and record results Tracking issues/ snags and driving closeout with project team ensure data integrity maintained. Review benchmark / first of kind schedule and report progress. Review and monitor instrument, measuring and test equipment calibration certificates. System / Equipment / Asset tagging, tracking, and reporting red, yellow, green tag status. Coordination and development of accurate and effective L3 – L5 startup and commissioning schedule with Cx lead. Monitor Power-bi analytics for accurate project reporting on issues, checklists, planned vs actual. Ensuring data integrity across, 360 project platforms ensuring raised issues are assigned correctly with categorisation, due date, owner, responsible party, etc. Monitoring KPI performance and supply chain performance. Development of action plans where required. Promote a positive quality culture onsite. Identify and recognise operatives going above and beyond to deliver quality excellence onsite. Completing root cause analysis and monitor corrective actions where required. Develop BCAR, LEED and BREEAM Plan in line with the ITP and organise the associated inspections. Compile BCAR, LEED and BREEAM certificates as required and include in the Pack Any other duties as assigned from time to time.
