Our Purpose In our Quality Engineering department in Medtronic, plc, we focus on supporting and improving our Quality system and processes. The quality function offers the Quality Engineering Graduate a broad range of departments in which the graduate could work within the quality function and are directly involved in supporting manufacturing operations, test laboratories, supplier quality, process and sterilization validations, software, design assurance and complaint handling functions. A Day in The Life Of: Experience life throughout many departments within the Quality Engineering function including a rotation opportunity mid-way through the program. Contribute to supporting the department in day-to-day activities and liaise with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve issues. Provide quality focus and technical support and ensure appropriate quality system procedures are applied. Prepare and monitor quality data using statistics and report on results. Support teams driving innovation and continuous improvement. Complete innovative projects to broaden product, design and development and quality systems knowledge. Present project outcomes to quality management staff. Use analysis techniques and other quality tools to aid decision making. Collaborate on updates to procedures as required to ensure compliance to specifications and procedures in area of responsibility. Key Skills & Experience Third Level - Minimum NFQ Level 7 Degree in Quality, Engineering, Science or other related discipline. Graduated within the last 2 years. Knowledge and experience of GMP and GDP. Strong communication skills. Ability to communicate verbally and/or in writing. Dynamic team player. Contributes to process improvement using quality tools and measurements.
