Our client, based in Westmeath, requires a Quality manager for their state of the art food processing facility. This position has come about due to an internal promotion. You will be joining an established and well respected quality team. Do you have a 3rd level Food Science Qualification? Do you have 3 years Quality Management experience gained in the food industry? As a Quality Manager within the Technical team, you will be responsible for the development and management of the Quality Assurance Policy ensuring the supply of 100% safe food. Working closely with the Technical Manager and Quality team, the Quality Manager is responsible for implementing and management of the day today running of the quality management system throughout the organisation. Your duties will include: Manage and Implement the Food Safety Quality Management System in the plant. Ensure through the Quality Assurance team that all Audits are successful and that any Corrective Actions are carried effectively. Lead the resolution of product complaints, non-conformances, and customer queries. Lead and manage all external factory audits. Develop the Quality team so that there is always cover for each role with all members continuously learning and developing.
