Job Description
Summary: Quality Manager / QHSE Manager role based in Cork City, with travel to other group sites in Ireland, UK and Europe. Requires experience with moulding machines, extrusion machines and plastic producing / finishing machines.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage, coordinate and maintain ISO systems, including maintenance and updating of company records.
- Ensure internal audits are carried out in a timely manner and certification to Quality Management System ISO9001:2015 and Environmental Management System ISO is maintained.
- Manage product testing, ensure products meet CE / UKCA marking requirements and maintain incoming goods inspection system.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including product specifications and technical data sheets.
- Conduct production line audits, investigate customer complaints and review, report and recommend disposition.
- Attend regular quality and operational meetings across the group.
Candidate Criteria:
- Third level qualification in a scientific or technical discipline.
- Minimum 3 years related experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge and experience in Quality and Environmental Systems.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, planning and organisation skills.
- Significant level of IT skills.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Drive key projects as assigned.
- Provide input on new product design and specifications.
- Provide input on new materials and specifications.
- Provide input on the continuous improvement of equipment, process and manufacturing related items.
Key Requirements:
- Eligibility to live and work in the EU.
- Fluent English, both written and spoken.
- Confident, enthusiastic individual with a can do attitude.
