Job Description
Quality Manager sought to lead QA team and ensure food safety, quality, and compliance with customer specifications across all products.
Reporting to the Operations Manager, the Quality Manager will work closely with the production and maintenance teams to ensure compliance with food safety, legal, and customer standards. Key responsibilities include:
- Ensuring food safety, quality, and compliance with customer specifications across all products
- Managing and leading the QA team to optimise performance and collaboration
- Providing technical guidance on food safety in a fast-paced environment
- Overseeing and maintaining the Food Safety Management System, including HACCP
- Driving continuous improvement in quality systems and processes
- Leading, developing, and motivating the Quality Assurance team for enhanced performance
- Supporting business improvement projects and HACCP/TACCP initiatives
- Coordinating audits, ensuring timely corrective actions are implemented
- Overseeing site hygiene to align with company goals
- Validating production records and conducting complaint investigations with corrective actions
- Ensuring a robust pest control program and monitoring microbiological trends with corrective actions
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in food-related discipline
- At least 2 years experience in quality management
- Proven experience in implementing and overseeing food safety systems that meet GFSI standards, including BRC requirements
