Job Description
Quality Planner sought for 11-month contract in Carlow, responsible for managing lab planning, forecast analysis, and QC plan creation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Creating a rolling QC plan based on laboratory workload and constraints
- Assessing QC laboratory capacity and liaising with logistics and warehouse personnel
- Monitoring plan execution, assessing cycle time adherence, and reporting KPIs
- Reviewing mid to long-term site plans and summarizing contract laboratory service-level performance
- Initiating, managing, and coordinating change controls and deviations for the QC department
- Driving metrics to measure QC performance and taking action to mitigate as required
Requirements:
- Strong collaboration and cross-functional leadership skills
- Demonstrated ability to make and act on decisions while balancing speed, quality, and risk
- Ability to work cross-functionally and manage relationships with stakeholders
- Interpret and summarise data, deal with uncertainty, manage complexity, and communicate concisely
Qualifications:
- Degree (or higher) in Science, Engineering, or a relevant discipline
- Experience in planning and project management
- A minimum of 2-3 years experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, or Pharmaceutical or Biological Operations
