Quality Technician
Supports beverage concentrate quality testing, raw material, work-in-process and finished product quality testing.
Ensures compliance with company and/or customer quality standards through standardized qualitative and quantitative tests.
This is a 12-month contract position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with HSE and Food Safety & Quality legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct organoleptic and analytical tests at various stages of compounding and packaging.
- Use instrumentation such as pH meters, HPLC, GC, Malvern Mastersizer, and other equipment.
- Submit and prepare samples for microbiological testing, maintain test results, and calculate batch adjustments.
- Approve batches for packaging and conforming finished product for shipment.
- Make corresponding inventory movements in SAP.
- File and maintain retained samples.
- Calibrate, clean, and maintain laboratory equipment and instrumentation.
- Perform aseptic sampling and quality testing of raw materials.
- Prepare reagents and solutions for use in testing.
- Observe conditions and practices in compounding, packaging, and finished goods storage areas.
- Participate in and lead projects involving Quality Control.
Shift and Schedule:
This is a full-time, 12-month contract working on a rotating shift Monday - Friday.
Shifts include morning and afternoon rotations.
