Quantity Surveyor Central Dublin Location: Dublin Job Type: Permanent, full-time Salary:Market leading A leading main building contractor based in Central Dublin is currently recruiting for an experienced Quantity Surveyor to work initially on a €90m office and Hotel Development in Central Dublin. Reporting to a managing QS, you will ensure the successful delivery of a large scale prestigious development. You will work across the entire duration of the project from pre-construction to final account. The Company Established nearly 100 years ago, the company has grown steadily to become a top tier main contractor delivering prestigious projects throughout Dublin and Ireland. They have an excellent reputation within the industry for delivering marquee projects on time and budget to a variety of repeat business clients. Duties: Preparing valuations for interim application for payment including variations; Preparing, negotiating and agreeing final accounts Preparing sub-contract enquiries and order documentation; Re-measurement of Bills of Quantities; Preparing cost budgets and prices for contract variations; Preparing subcontract valuation and payment certificates; Monitoring costs to ensure budgets are met; Preparation of contract claims information; Evaluating/selecting subcontract tenders; Setting up and maintaining contract files The Person 3+ years experience in a similar role Contractually astute Commercially minded Strong Negotiator In return a market leading salary and benefits package is on offer.
