Job Description
Commercial Oversight Specialist for Data Centre Solutions
Manage commercial aspects of large data centre projects across EMEA, providing cost guidance and direction to achieve cost goals.
- Commercial Oversight on all large Projects across EMEA Region
- Manage and deliver all commercial aspects of large tender project opportunities across EMEA
- Monthly commercial reviews of all large Projects being delivered across EMEA
- Complete review and Analysis of current position and forecast of project revenue and margin across EMEA
- Assist all Project Personnel as a QS function for commercial oversight on Project Costs
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all facets of cost management (budget, schedule, procurement, quality & risk) for individual real estate projects
- Produce concept level estimates to aid feasibility studies and assist with business cases
- Issue recommendations for the application of an estimator to produce costing of greater detail
- Evaluate project scope and client needs to develop and present recommended budgets
- Partner with project team to source and oversee the pre-bid and pre-construction services associated with the development of a project budget and cost plan
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS/BEng/BArch) from College or University in a technical area of study
- Minimum 4 years of related experience and/or training
- RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) accreditation preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and analytical skills
