CBRE Data Centre Solutions (DCS) seeks a Commercial Lead to oversee commercial aspects of large data centre projects across EMEA, with a strong focus on cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will have a technical background, excellent communication and analytical skills, and experience in commercial real estate and construction projects. The role will involve managing project costs, preparing budgets and financial reports, and collaborating with project teams to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget. Key responsibilities include: Commercial Oversight: Manage and deliver commercial aspects of large data centre projects across EMEA, ensuring compliance with client requirements and company policies. Cost Management: Develop and maintain detailed cost plans, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Project Administration: Lead the administration of project funding, including creation of funding documents and management of project cash flows. Value Engineering: Promote and implement value engineering initiatives to optimize project outcomes and reduce costs. Team Management: Manage and develop a team of project delivery resources, including identification of training needs, performance tracking, coaching, and motivation. Communication: Develop and maintain effective relationships with project teams, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring open and transparent communication and collaboration. Professional Development: Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices, and participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge. The ideal candidate will have: Education: Bachelor's degree in a technical area of study, such as engineering, architecture, or construction management. Experience: Minimum 4 years of experience in commercial real estate and construction projects, with a strong focus on cost management, budgeting, and financial analysis. Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong organizational and analytical skills, and advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite. Accreditation: RICS (Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors) or CIOB (Chartered Institute of Building) accreditation is preferred. Certifications: Internationally recognized state-of-the-art certifications in data centre management and commercial real estate are a plus. Languages: Fluency in English is required, and proficiency in other languages is an advantage.
