Join a Main Contractor in Mayo as a Quantity Surveyor, working in various construction sectors with opportunities for career growth. The ideal candidate has 4+ years of experience.
- Tendering for jobs, compiling bills of quantities, and forward ordering project materials.
- Manage contracts, resolving site issues, and monitoring work quality.
- Keep costs within budget, adhere to project program, and make payments to sub-contractors.
- Prepare weekly reports on job progress and prepare final accounts.
- Chase outstanding moneys and prepare weekly reports on job costing, payments received, and overdue accounts.
Necessary skills and requirements:
- 2 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyor and a 3rd level Qualification in Quantity Surveying/Construction economics.
- Proven track record of quantity surveying and strong operational skills.
- Good presentation skills, strong written communication abilities, and customer focus skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
