We are seeking an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join our client team for an exciting construction project in Dublin, Ireland. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cost management and project control within the Irish construction industry.

About the Role:

  • Prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects based on architectural drawings and specifications.
  • Develop and manage project budgets, tracking expenses and forecasting costs throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Conduct regular cost analysis and value engineering exercises to optimize project costs and identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • Manage procurement activities, including tendering, negotiation, and contract administration with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Provide contractual advice and support to project teams, resolving disputes and claims as necessary.
  • Prepare and review financial reports, including cost reports, cash flow projections, and final accounts.
  • Mentor and support junior quantity surveying staff, providing guidance and expertise as needed.
