Job Description
Quantity Surveyor sought for Dublin office to undertake Quantity Surveying duties independently, reporting to Management Team in project delivery.
Carron + Walsh, a leading practice, is seeking a skilled Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Dublin. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing budget estimates, tender documentation, and contract administration, among other duties.
Key Responsibilities:
- Preparation of budget estimates and tender documentation
- Analysis of tender returns and preparation of contract documents
- Contract administration and document control
- Recording and reporting on KPIs (Key Performance Indicators)
- Preparing payment recommendations and agreeing variations
- Conducting site inspections and data analysis
- Operation of Carron + Walsh Cost Management System
- Compliance with Carron + Walsh ISO Certified Quality, Environmental and Health & Safety Management Systems
Requirements:
- Minimum 1-3 years' experience in Quantity Surveying with a proven track record in dealing with subcontractors and clients
- Working towards Chartership status MSCSI/MRICS with a B.Sc. in Quantity Surveying
- Thorough understanding of specifications, bills of quantities, and drawings
- High capability of extracting quantities from drawings and issuing enquiries to sub-contractors and suppliers
- Computer literate in Microsoft Office and other Quantity Surveying Packages – CostX
- Excellent budgetary responsibility, written and oral communication skills, and organisation and time management skills
