Quantity Surveyor/PQS role in a busy consultancy, requiring cost management expertise for various sectors, with opportunities for career progression.
Our client, a leading consultancy, is seeking Quantity Surveyors at Junior, Intermediate, and Senior levels to join their team. The role offers a hybrid mix of working from home and the office, with infrequent travel to client projects and offices. The consultancy is based in Dublin and has regional offices in the West and Northwest.
The initial portfolio will include cost management for commercial, retail, institutional, hotel and leisure, residential, and hyperscale, life-science, and hi-tech projects in Ireland. The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting with full scope of cost management services, including pre and post-contract cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assisting with cost management services, including pre and post-contract cost planning, procurement, and contract administration.
- Understanding of commercial and residential, new build and refurbishment.
- Experience of various contract forms.
- Advising clients and design teams on cost, value, and risk.
The ideal candidate will be a qualified Quantity/Project Surveyor with good numeracy, verbal, and written communication skills. They will possess logged postgraduate experience in a quantity surveying environment and knowledge of various sectors, including retail, commercial, education, and residential.
