Job Description
Manage commercial aspects of large data centre projects across EMEA, overseeing procurement, team management, and client relationships to ensure CBRE's competitiveness and profitability.

Key Responsibilities:
- Commercial oversight on large projects across all business units in EMEA
- Manage a team of quantity surveyors to support projects in different business units
- Work with procurement to build a quality and reliable supply chain in each country and discipline
- Maintain working relationships with clients to ensure CBRE is their first point of contact
- Manage and deliver all commercial aspects of large tender project opportunities across EMEA
- Monthly commercial reviews of large projects being delivered across EMEA
- Complete review and analysis of current position and forecast of project revenue and margin across EMEA
- Assist project personnel as a QS function for commercial oversight on project costs
- Carry out pre-contract and post-contract duties, including tender document assessment, cost planning, and value management
Pre-Contract Phase:
- Assess tender documents to ensure enough information is available to prepare tender
- Take off quantities
- Prepare and issue sub-contract enquiries and assessment of quotations
- Prepare and issue material supply enquiries and assessment of quotations
- Prepare specifications and/or contractors' proposals
- Submit tenders and follow up
Post-Contract Phase:
- Maintain contract documentation and advise on pre-tender and post-contract matters
- Prepare and issue contractual letters to clients and/or sub-contractors
- Post-contract liaison with clients and design team
- Carry out take offs for material procurement
- Sub-contract negotiation and letting
- Full review of construction package and complete IFT vs IFT exercise
- Compile cost analysis for variations and potential savings for the project
