ProSource Group are recruiting a Quantity Surveyor on behalf of a long-established mid-sized Building Contractors, to be based in their office in Co. Galway. About the company My client has established itself amongst the top Irish building contractors delivering high quality, construction projects across a range of sectors including Commercial, Industrial, Residential. With a strong commitment to quality and a dedication to delivering exceptional construction projects, they are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Quantity Surveyor to join their team in Monaghan. €50k - €60k + package on offer, depending on experience. Main Responsibilities Conducting cost estimation and budgeting for construction projects. Analysing and advising on project financials, including cost variations. Preparing and evaluating tenders and contracts. Managing subcontractor agreements and payments. Monitoring project progress and costs, making recommendations for cost-saving measures. Ensuring compliance with contractual terms and local regulations. Collaborating with the project team to achieve project goals. To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications and skills: Bachelors degree in quantity surveying or related field. 3-5 years experience in quantity surveying within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of construction contracts, regulations, and industry standards. Excellent communication and negotiation skills. Proficiency in construction cost estimation software. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Strong organisational and time management abilities. A valid driver's license.
