Job Description
Quantity Surveyor role involves advising on contractual matters, processing claims, and negotiating with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery.
Key Responsibilities:
- Advise on contractual matters at general and project level
- Process contractual claims and associated records
- Negotiate with subcontractors and suppliers to maximise revenue and reduce costs
- Assist with project cash management and ensure timely drafting of commercial/contractual correspondence
- Prepare and review monthly cost reports and ensure risk registers are reviewed and updated
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in previous roles
- Experience in establishing project cost reporting structure and preparing contractual claims
- Excellent working knowledge of COINS and management experience of project cashflow
- Excellent communication skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office
