Job Description An exciting opportunity has risen for a Quantity Surveyor to work at Lawlor Burns & Associates Limerick whom are one of Irelands leading Chartered Quantity Surveyors practices. We provide professional construction consultancy services for projects including cost management and project management throughout Ireland. We have successfully delivered projects from a wide range of sectors, including health, education, commercial, retail, hotels, leisure & tourism, residential and public buildings. The ideal candidate will have experience in PQS Background and be a chartered surveyor with minimum 5 to 10 years experience. Candidates will have the opportunity to work on a variety of projects across the Mid West Region (large health projects, residential schemes, large primary and secondary schools, public realm works, commercial and civil projects). Salary will be commensurate with relevant experience and qualifications. Job Requirements Hold a level 8 honours degree in Quantity Surveying or Construction Economics. 3-5 years experience for the role as Intermediate Surveyor with 5-10 years experience for the role as Senior Surveyor (PQS/ Consultancy work experience preferred). Is registered as a Quantity Surveyor under the provisions of the Building Control Act 2007. Experience in delivering projects at pre and post-contract stages. Chartered status is advantageous. Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft packages. Proficient in measurement software, i.e. Buildsoft and Cubit. Excellent communication skills and attention to detail. Capability of working independently and as part of a team. A full drivers license and use of own car.
