Opportunity for a Quantity Surveyor Co. Sligo Talent Curve Intermediate Quantity Surveyor Co. Sligo The Company Vibrant company which has been operating for over 85 years within the construction sector is currently on the lookout for a Quantity Surveyor to help assist their commercial team with current projects. They operate within a number of sectors including Residential, Commercial, Public, Education, Leisure, Fit Out, Pharmaceutical, Energy & Healthcare. The Role Liaise with clients and project managers Management of commercial and contractual aspects of relationships with customers, consultants and subcontractors Prepare tendering projects Preparing interim valuations, identifying and valuing variations Compile and issue invitations to tender, analyse subcontractor quotations and make recommendations for placement of orders Attend pre-contract meetings, liaise with a wide range of construction professionals, and ensure timely completion of jobs Assist in the guidance and development of junior surveyors Assess subcontractor payment entitlement and process payments Manage project performance and report to management team Work closely with contract and site management staff to support the smooth running of the office and the site, carrying out other duties as required Ensuring accurate reporting What you need Hold Degree in Quantity Surveying / Construction Management Highly motivated hard-working individual who can work on their own or as part as a team Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications Great written and verbal communications skills 3+ Years Experience For any more information on the role please contact Aaron Grimshaw on Talent Curve Recruitment is an equal opportunities employer.
