Job Summary: We are seeking a Quantity Surveyor to manage the cost and value of construction projects from mobilization to final settlement, working with a leading building and civil engineering company in Limerick, Ireland.
Responsibilities:
- Participate in procurement of specialist trades and make recommendations to the project director.
- Draft subcontract agreements and review design information for cost implications.
- Assess and settle subcontract valuations and final accounts.
- Identify value engineering opportunities and advise the project team.
- Complete monthly valuations and participate in internal cost reporting systems.
- Prepare the project final account submission to the client.
- Provide proactive advice on contract matters.
