Job Description

AWS Infrastructure Services owns the design, planning, delivery, and operation of all AWS global infrastructure. In other words, we're the people who keep the cloud running.

You'll join a diverse team of software, hardware, and network engineers, supply chain specialists, security experts, operations managers, and other vital roles.

Key job responsibilities

• Routinely review ticket queue for large events and address accordingly
• Coordinate change management resources
• Guide, train and educate data staff on the best practices related to all service owner issues
• Manage and deliver midsize projects
• Recommend, document, and oversee policies and procedures to meet industry best practices and to meet required SLAs
• Manage a diverse team of Decom technicians with varying skills
• Provide weekly report to the Cluster Manager
• Maintain the oncall schedule coordinating absence and vacations
• Recruit and train Decom technicians to ensure appropriate staffing levels
• Write and deliver performance reviews for staff

• Undergraduate degree in business administration, engineering, computer science or a related field.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure & systems administration experience in a data center environment.
• Proficiency with MS Office Suite& strong oral and written communication skills.
• Experience managing IT infrastructure projects from initiation to closure with project management best practices such as PMI, Waterfall, and Agile.
• Ability to successfully manage crossfunctional projects involving multiple stakeholders and varying levels of management and proficiency with MS Project, Excel, and SharePoint.
• PMP Certification, Six Sigma Green Belt, Safety training or certification.
