Manage theatre screening services and oversee training and rotations of radiographers in a busy hospital setting.
St James's Hospital is Ireland's largest acute academic teaching hospital, based in Dublin's south inner city.
The hospital's fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis, as well as health promotion and preventative services.
The South Dublin Surgical Hub is a stand-alone Day Surgical Unit under the governance of St James's Hospital.
The Clinical Specialist Radiographer role is responsible for managing the theatre screening service on a day-to-day basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing theatre screening services
- Overseeing training and rotations of radiographers
- Working closely with the Radiographic Services Manager
The ideal candidate will have:
- Experience as a Clinical Specialist Radiographer
- Strong leadership and management skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
