About us: St Jamess Hospital is Irelands largest acute academic teaching hospital and is based in Dublins south inner city. Our fundamental purpose is the delivery of health treatment, care and diagnosis as well as health promotion and preventative services at local, regional and national levels. Our academic partner is Trinity College Dublin. The South Dublin Surgical Hub (Mount Carmel) is a stand-alone Day Surgical Unit under the governance of St James's Hospital. The unit is an integral part of a National Programme to address elective surgery wait times. The unit will be using LEAN methodologies in a strive for Operational Excellence. Purpose of the role: The role of the Clinical Specialist Radiographer in Theatre in the South Dublin Surgical Hub (Mount Carmel)is to be responsible for managing the theatre screening service on a day to day basis and oversee the training and rotations of other St James's hospital radiographers there.
