As an R&D Energy Systems Engineer Intern, you will work with a team of engineers to develop Energy Harvesting and other technology for the Energy Industry.
Key responsibilities include designing R&D projects from inception to completion, developing leading edge technology, and analysing, designing, and developing products.
- Design and develop R&D projects from inception to completion
- Develop leading edge technology for Energy Harvesting and the Energy Industry
- Analyse and design products, and assist in their commercialization
- Build prototypes, products, and systems suitable for testing
- Design and implement tests, document results, and develop customer presentations
- Provide timely corrective actions on defects
- Produce analyses and mathematical models and draw design conclusions based on those
- Conduct or participate in technical reviews of requirements, specifications and designs, code, and other artifacts
Competencies:
- Studying towards a Bachelor or Master in Energy, Mechanical or System Engineering or in related field
- Team player with a hands-on approach
- Interest in product design and development
- Technical and problem-solving skills
